Brief

After launching a successful e-commerce company in 2012 it was time for an upgrade. The company needed a fully custom designed and developed e-commerce website to fulfill all their needs and also be scalable and future proof.

Approach

We approached the brief with our client perspective in mind but we also added the user / customer point of view to the equation. The result was a website that was custom designed and developed in Drupal Commerce but also user friendly and easy to use and order.

How it was made

We did the math

Solving problems might be challenging but is also the most rewarding when you finally solve it. The company needed a refresh on their design. They also needed to solve some technical issues with the old website. We added the user experience into the equation. The outcome was astonishing.

We solved the problem

At first we created a custom visual design for the shop. We considered all the beauty factors but we've put a great amount of thought in UX design as well.

We then developed the shop in Drupal Commerce. Being the most scalable and customizable CMS the decision was a no brainer. It ticked all the boxes for the company needs, for scalability, for speed and security and everything in between.

Gimme all the info

Since all of their products are handmade, their inventory is small and customizable. Every product had lots of information that needed to be clearly laid out on the page, so we tried to do exactly that.
