We are serious about security too. When most control panel based hosting providers have many security issues with the software run on their servers which is completely open to attacks, we have locked down our system as much as we can. Our servers have been tested and passed all security tests from Pfizer itself, before giving us the green light to host their emvoliazo website. We are so paranoid about security that we have developed a highly sophisticated backup system, based on machine learning, that adjusts the backups automatically. 1-2 weeks db and files backup on websites that don't change too often, and daily or bi-daily backups on frequently changing websites like e-shops. All backups reside in a completely different datacenter in another country. That way even if our current datacenter in Germany catches fire or becomes a target of nuclear warfare, your data will be intact. Unless of course there is a global nuclear war, in that case the integrity of our backups will be the least of our problems.

Our emails are moved to a completely different server, for security reasons, handled by a specific mail panel software and they are all completely encrypted with the strongest TLS encryption algorithms.

Can you move our site over, and will it be down while you do?

Migration from your current host is included and we plan it so visitors never notice: the site is copied and tested on our servers first, and the DNS switch happens only once everything works. For sites that change constantly, such as e-shops, we sync the latest data right before the final cutover.

How do we know it will actually be faster?

They are kept in a separate datacentre, in a different country from the live servers, so a failure or a fire in one location cannot take your data with it. Restores are tested, not assumed.

Will we get a control panel like cPanel?

No, and that is a deliberate choice. Control panels are among the most targeted pieces of software on a server, so we keep the system locked down and handle server-side tasks ourselves. Our servers passed Pfizer's own security testing before we were cleared to host their emvoliazo project, which is the standard we hold the setup to.

Do you host email as well?

Yes, on completely separate servers from the websites, for security reasons. Mail is handled by dedicated software and encrypted with strong TLS, so a problem on the web side never reaches your mailboxes.
